Does anyone know the polarity of the subwoofer harness?
One half is gray/green and other is blue/yellow..BTW.. I replaced my backs with a set from etronics.com

| binster | Not sure on the exact fit, as I have not bought yet. . But looks like standard 6.5 size will fit in,, I am also thinking it's a two way vs sub since there are 2 sets of wires.. Looking at the kappas, this one would fit

TN/VT (+)point 8
left rear woofer...WT/BK (-)point 17
wh/rd (+)point 7 Hope this helps...something that will definately help you in the future is to, keep an eye open for the service manuals that come up on e-bay...my Kats an 01... but I bought service manuals for an 02...as far as I know there were no changes to anything...o1 manual's haven't been coming up...a wealth of knowledge in these manuals... |
| binster | LD- Thanks.. Going to get a manual, looks like a good thing to have. As for the wiring, that looks like the left and right rear speakers vs. the sub.. center speaker in rear,
Can you see if there is something that hints of blue/yellow and gray/green? |
| LD | Binster...I've got 2 manuals that show all the wiring from the fuse block all the way to the woofers and anywhere else in the audio system and there aren't any wiring packets and wire colors with what you are needing...as I said...my manuals are for 01 and 02...what year is your Kat??? I may be able to scan my manual's of the wire diagrams, and send you those, so you can see for yourself...holler back if you want me to try... |

| binster | Today, I am thinking it may be time to swap the rear speaker enclosure and start my stereo upgrade sooner rather than later. I have seen the product real rod offers. Are there any other pointers to custom enclosures that can be purchased online? |
